This Week’s Trade Exits

No exits this week, as I haven’t followed our basic strategy (formerly known as our core strategy) of buying shares of PA top names in a while, but have been placing options trades on them instead. Nevertheless, our top names have continued their strong performance, as you can see in last night’s update.

Last week, we had 18 exits, and only one loss: our QQQ hedge expiring worthless. No such luck this week. I thought of adding a new hedge last Friday, but didn’t get around to it, and of course this week is when we ran into turbulence, causing us to take losses on a number of our put spread legs. We did get some good entries on new trades though, so hopefully those will pay off over the next several months.
