The ranking has produced meaningful long-run alpha. Across 167 completed six-month cohorts, our Top Names averaged returns of 17.54%, versus 9.73% for SPY.

Our technical gate narrows that ranked list to stocks with bullish Chartmill Technical and Setup ratings that also closed above their 50-day exponential moving averages. An exposure check comes next.

Recently, seeing one or two fresh names from the top ten has been more typical make it through that gate has been more typical. Four of Thursday’s top ten made it through this process. They span item-level connectivity, American steel, cloud communications, and enterprise data infrastructure.

Matching The Structure To The Signal
