A Growing Need For Treatment
Two of today’s trades start with a simple problem: chronic diseases are putting more people through years of monitoring and treatment. Better tools can make that burden easier to manage, and successful treatments can give patients back time they now spend in clinics.
The International Diabetes Federation estimates that 589 million adults were living with diabetes in 2024. It projects that number will reach 853 million by 2050. Diabetes-related health spending already exceeded $1 trillion in 2024.
The chart below shows how much that patient population is expected to grow:
For investors, that creates opportunities in both established businesses serving patients today and clinical-stage companies developing treatments for tomorrow. We’ve selected one of each. Their investment cases turn on different milestones: sales growth for the established business, and trial results for the drug developer.
A Finite Supply
Our third trade is tied to Bitcoin. Its maximum supply is 21 million coins. That gives us a straightforward bullish thesis: if demand grows faster than the supply available for sale, the price can rise. Demand can change quickly.
We’re expressing all three views with call diagonals, buying longer-dated calls and selling shorter-dated calls to reduce the entry cost. The long calls give our theses time to develop; the short calls help fund that time and can limit gains while they remain open.
We’ll lead with a healthcare name from Portfolio Armor’s Top Names—the ten securities our system ranks highest by estimated six-month return, net of hedging cost. Then we’ll get to two Multibaggers trades. Our Multibaggers are a tracked group of outside analysts with multiple recent winners that gained 100% or more. The names, entry limits and exit plans are below.
