Hawaiian Electric Industries (HE 0.00%↑) is up ~38% in the premarket as I type this. In light of that, I am canceling the third trade in this post, the $10-$7.50 put spread.

Pamoni Photograph/Pexels Sell When There’s Blood In The Streets The old adage, variously attributed to Bernard Baruch, John D. Rockefeller, and Baron Rothschild is to “buy when there’s blood in the streets”, i.e., buy when prices are down due to a disaster. But sometimes it makes sense to sell short when there’s blood in the streets.
I’m keeping open the second trade there, which is the $12.50-$10 put spread. Hopefully, that fills today.
