Just got a nice email from Substack with the image above, so I wanted to thank you for making this Substack a bestseller. To celebrate, I thought we might do an additional earnings trade.

A Tactically Bullish Bet

This trade’s a little different from the previous ones in that I am bearish on the stock in the medium term, but think there’s a chance it might still pop on earnings. It’s similar to Coinbase, Inc. ( COIN 0.00%↑ ) before earnings last week in that its fundamentals and technicals don’t look good, but social data is bullish on it. This one also has >20% short interest.

It’s possible I’ll bet against this company in the future, but I’m betting on a bullish post-earnings move today. Details below.
