Serbian President Predicts Doom

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić was interviewed by local media on Wednesday, where he predicted the next stage in the Ukraine War. 

According to RT (Ukraine Conflict Is Already A World War–Serbia), Vučić sees the Ukraine War as essentially a world war already, with the West aligned against Russia. And he’s not optimistic about what happens next: 

I know what awaits us. As soon as Vladimir Putin has done his work in Seversk, Bakhmut and Soledar, after reaching the second line Slaviansk-Kramatorsk-Avdeevka, he will come up with a proposal. And if they [the West] don’t accept it, – and they won’t – all hell will break loose

As RT notes, Vučić didn’t elaborate on what that “hell” will look like, but it’s worth remembering that Europe is already on an economic precipice as is. 

Given Germany’s dependence on Russian energy, it might not take much pressure from Putin to push it and the rest of Europe along with it, into an economic crisis. 

This might not be a bad time to hedge, if you haven’t already.
